Jerry Zimmerer, received his JD from South Texas College of Law and both of his Masters of Law (International Law and Health Law) from the University of Houston Law School. He completed his Internship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Ethics Section, and is credentialed in domestic and international commercial arbitration by the A.A. White Institute.
He is a member of the Board of Advisors to the Health Law and Policy Institute at the University of Houston Law Center, where he is an occasional guest lecturer. He is also Membership Chairman, Harris County Democratic Lawyers Association and Secretary to the Katy Bar Association.
Jerry is married to Nancy for 26 years; they have twin daughters, Nicole and Rene. Nicole graduated UH in 2017 receiving accolades for “Best Student Play” and is currently on a Presidential Fellowship to Carnegie Mellon University for her Masters of Fine Arts. Rene Zimmerer is completing her Senior Thesis at UH and is a candidate for the MD, PhD program in medical sciences.
